On behalf of the Divine Dignity Board, I am pleased to announce that, effective December 1, Amy Cooley will join us as our new Executive Director.

Amy brings a wealth of experience, wisdom and faith to our organization, and we are confident that she will be an asset to Divine Dignity as we continue to grow and expand our mission of providing hygiene, dignity and hope to those in need.

In our short 4-year existence, we have grown tremendously, from 8 to 42 hygiene locations throughout the Central Ohio area, enormously increasing the amount of hygiene we deliver to our trusted nonprofit partners and their clients. We are confident that our growth will continue, and Amy is the right person to lead us into a new level of service.

With more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Amy Cooley brings a diverse background in organizational operations, leadership and community-focused service.

Amy states:

“I’m excited by the opportunity and privilege to join Divine Dignity in its next phase of growth. I look forward to hearing the thoughts, perspectives, and ideas of our staff, our volunteers, our stakeholders, and the community partners we serve as we chart our next chapter. By focusing on those whom we are called to serve, I know there are even greater levels of success we can reach, helping even more people in need in the future.”

Terry Starr, our Founder and Executive Director, will continue to be involved on the board and in supporting our mission and vision. Terry stepped out in faith to begin Divine Dignity, and the results have been nothing short of miraculous.

Terry explains:

“Divine Dignity is God’s organization. God promised me that He would bring people to walk beside me, and He truly has surrounded me with great people who share my passion for helping our neighbors in need with hygiene and sharing God’s love. I believe that Amy is an answer to many prayers for the next leader of Divine Dignity, and I look forward to working with her to transition the leadership role to her.”

We are grateful for Terry’s leadership and vision, and we look forward to celebrating her retirement in suitable fashion.

Terry and Amy are beginning the transition process this month, and Amy will take the Executive Director role on December 1, 2026.
