How Hygiene Bags Are Restoring Dignity to Columbus Veterans

This fall, we are honored to support the Stand Down for Veterans event at the Columbus Convention Center by providing 300 Dignity Bags for veterans experiencing homelessness or hardship. Of these, 200 bags will be for men and 100 for women.

A woman in a blue jacket holds packaged items in a large convention hall with tables covered in clothing. Bright overhead lights illuminate the scene.

Each Dignity Bag is filled with essential hygiene items that offer more than just cleanliness. They offer comfort, hope, and a reminder that our veterans are seen and cared for.

The Stand Down event is more than a giveaway. It creates a space for connection and healing. Veterans receive a warm meal, cold-weather gear like coats, socks, and gloves, and access to services including healthcare, legal assistance, and housing support.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve those who have served us. Moments like this remind us that small acts of care can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Thank you to our supporters for making this possible.
