At Divine Dignity, our commitment to supporting our veterans runs deep. When we received a request from our local VFW Post 4931, which is located less than a mile from our warehouse, we knew we had to step in to help those who have sacrificed so much for our country.
In response to the call for assistance, our dedicated team sprang into action. We packed 30 dignity bags, carefully curated with essential hygiene items, to provide support to our veterans who are experiencing homelessness, poverty, and poor health. These bags, comprising 20 for men and 10 for women, were filled with items to address their basic needs and offer a sense of dignity and respect.
On Monday, April 15th, we had the privilege of delivering these bags to the VFW hall. The warmth and gratitude we received from the veterans were truly humbling. It was heartwarming to witness their appreciation and to know that our small gesture could make a meaningful difference in their lives.
