Vista Village Update: How Hygiene from Divine Dignity is Supporting a Fresh Start

At Vista Village, every new resident gets more than a roof over their head. They get a chance to start over, and hygiene is a part of that.

We’ve been supplying monthly hygiene products to Vista Village’s community center, helping residents meet a need that often goes unnoticed. While they settle into their homes, learn daily routines, and prepare for future jobs, we’re providing basics like soap, toothpaste, and cleaning supplies. These simple items help them feel at home and care for themselves as they take important steps forward.

When a resident is ready to move out and live on their own, they leave with everything from their house, including the hygiene items we've provided. Nothing is taken for granted, and nothing is wasted. They take with them the tools to continue their progress.

This month, three residents reached that milestone. Now, six new Welcome Home baskets are on their way for the next group stepping into this transitional housing program. Each basket is filled with essentials. More than that, it's filled with hope for what’s ahead.
